To manage and communicate HSE effectively Geolog has put in place the following structure:
- Managing Director: HSE leader
- HSE Manager: Based at Headquarters and responsible for ensuring HSE policies are complied with, to ensure risk assessments are conducted as scheduled, to ensure correct HSE reporting (accidents, meetings, near-misses, statistics) and to organize the required training courses (both internal and external)
- HSE local coordinator: Has the same responsibilities and duties as those of the HSE Manager but at a local level, supervising all the operations under his territories
- Unit Manager: On site, in the mud logging unit is responsible for ensuring a safe working environment, conducting safety meetings, recording and reporting incidents, near-misses, meetings and statistics and to ensure compliance with Client’s Q&HSE policies
- Mud Loggers: On site, in the mud logging unit strictly adheres to the HSE on site rules and GEOLOG HSE management system and policies
