Objectives are the following:

• The protection of the health of its employees and of those who may be affected by its operations;
• The protection of property from possible damages;
• The prevention of possible damage to the environment;
• The attainment of international safety management code certifications;
• The prevention of possible injuries to individuals;
• The prevention of absence from work due to illness;

GEOLOG seeks to achieve these objectives by:

• Ensuring an appropriate level of employee training in relation to HSE protection in all areas of operations;
• The use of an effective two-way communication system for all HSE issues;
• Providing optimum human, technical and financial investment in HSE;
• Clearly defining the HSE duties and responsibilities of all employees;
• To maintain valid HSE certifications at all times ;
• Continually improving its HSE management system in line with industry standards.

The application of this policy is the direct responsability of both GEOLOG Management as well as all GEOLOG employees involved in their day to day activities. Its application will be audited on an ongoing basis.
