Real Time KICK CONTROL allows in case of a kick
the immediate computation of:

 
  • The formation pore pressure
  • The fluid influx height in the string
  • The nature of the fluid influx
  • The new mud density needed to kill the kick
  • The amount of barite needed
  • The circulating pressures and the time needed
    • to prevent any further fluid entry
    • to safely circulate the fuid influx out of the annulus with real time monitoring
    • to replace the contaminated mud by a new mud
